Plus a fully printed statement of intent to go with the rents via CIP.
Once this letter or any other similar letter goes out with the rents, the forming association has done everything in its power to inform all potential members of the association. Over and above the measures already carried out. I.e. meetings, notices, jungle telegraph etc.
Advice would be to try to form independent of CIP influence at this stage. It has been muted that CIP have an agenda to hand over management of all sites.
Some people here would still like CIP to look after rents, insurance etc.
Once an Association has formed this can be correctly discussed and considered. As can any other issues concerning the plotholders.

A rough date of Sunday 15th Oct 2006 for the inaugural AGM.
Various plotholders have been proposed as officers of the association.
At the AGM formally elect the officers, vote in a constitution.
Set a time for working parties to look at grants, self management, issues people want to raise etc. Any findings can be brought before the association.
On the website other allotmenteers have given us links to grants they themselves have been given and how the grant was used.
Also thanks to Rita from Longbenton we have links to information detailing exactly how to apply for grants.
At this stage the allotments we now have are unchanged, no rules, very enjoyable and managed the same way.
However, there will be an association that can at the request of the majority of plotholders do something to make their lot happier
