I notice on the main information board that a list of 'achievements so far' has been posted. I would like to add to that and say a big thank you to Jim, Alan, Reg and others who have given up a few saturdays and sundays to organise car parking for Twickenham matches. This has raised in excess of £1500 so far and has paid for the car park improvement, the manure pens, the manure and still leaves us with a lot of cash in the bank. Every allotment holder should be extremely grateful that we are blessed with rugby HQ just around the corner. It really is a goose that lays a golden egg and other allotment sites with whom I have been in contact, feel we are very fortunate to have such an easy and profitable way of making money. Don't knock it. We have all benefited from it and will continue to do so in years to come.
